PRANA/LIFE STUDIO welcomed Jill to the team in Fall 2023.  Jill currently offers Vinyasa Yoga on Thursday evenings. She is a certified 200-hr yoga instructor, and a New Jersey native who has spent time traveling all across America before recently settling in Three Oaks, where she works at Granor Farm, including teaching kids' yoga there.

Teaching yoga came organically to Jill, who first began practicing yoga as a teenager seeking to complement and enhance her performance as a competitive skier.  At that time she first realized the profound emotional and physical benefits of a regular practice, and she now brings that wealth of personal experience to her weekly offering, as well as her boundless warmth and positive energy.

Mara, an alum of CorePower Yoga, brings a wealth of experience to her teaching. Having completed CPY’s 200-hour teacher training for Yoga Sculpt, C1, and Hot Power Fusion, she previously taught yoga sculpt in Chicago. But her journey didn’t stop there—Mara’s connection to the Southwest Michigan area led her to relocate there full-time in fall 2023. She joined forces with the PRANA/LIFE team, infusing her passion for yoga and strength training into her teaching.

Beyond the mat, Mara wears another hat: she’s a licensed real estate broker in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Recently, she became part of the Dawn McKenna Group (DMG), a leading real estate team nationally and the #1 large team in the Midwest.

Mara’s teaching philosophy centers around inspiring and empowering spiritual and physical balance in everyday life. She believes that life, love, and laughter are the essential ingredients for making each day special. Now, in her new community, she seeks to engage, inspire, and connect through the positive impact of her yoga practice. When she’s not on the mat, you’ll find Mara enjoying cycling, golf, tennis, and quality time with family and friends.

Join Mara for Yoga Sculpt at PRANA/LIFE on Monday and Friday mornings, with weekend pop-up classes as available. ‍️

Spencer is a Michigander who grew up playing sports and loving movement.  After college she lived in Europe where she worked with strength trainers in a variety of locations.  Eventually she discovered a trainer in Chicago who became a true mentor and inspired her to become a fitness professional.  This trainer was someone who encouraged her to lift heavier, swing stronger and to do things she didn’t think she could.  Spencer seeks to similarly help others become their strongest and most powerful selves.  She has received her personal trainer certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine and her spinning instructor certification from Maddog Athletics.  She is also attuned as a level 2 reiki practitioner and plays crystal sound bowls.

Spencer is excited to bring high intensity training to PRANA/LIFE STUDIO's group class offerings, and to deepen her intuitive-healing practice through monthly sound baths within this community.
